Content Strategy

Content Planning Framework
As the Content Director at Perfeqta, I created the foundation of the organization’s content strategy and update it regularly based on company goals, our audience’s challenges, and industry trends. This strategy has helped scale the startup to a 7-figure company in just over a year.
My responsibilities include developing monthly content plans that detail:

- Our marketing goals and sales goals
- Our audience’s challenges and how our content will provide a solution
- Keyword research
- Full editorial calendar with content topics
- Team member responsibilities and due dates
- Marketing analytics for the month
In this role, I specialize in generating big concepts and breaking them into small action steps for all members involved in the creation, review, and publishing process.

Copywriting
Career Chasers
Career Chasers is a virtual career development program for women of color. To help boost membership and brand awareness, I wrote copy for the Career Chasers website.
The goal of this project was to highlight the benefits of career coaching, networking, and professional growth, in an effort to close the gender pay gap. I wanted to make the copy sound conversational, welcoming, and inspirational to women of diverse backgrounds.

Special Projects
Design: Career Journal and Affirmation Cards
The Career Journal for Women and Affirmation Cards were created to help women find clarity and build confidence in their professional lives. While working with Career Chasers, I designed the Career Journal from front to back and the deck of affirmation cards.
The goal was to attract women from diverse backgrounds with bold colors and warm illustrations.
I also set up and launched Facebook ads that doubled the sales of this bundle. This process included:

- Creating ad sets
- Publishing ads
- Monitoring performance

Social Media Content Creation: Tech Ladies
Tech Ladies is a global community for women in tech and one of Perfeqta’s trusted clients. As a content creator for Tech Ladies, I design Instagram graphics, write captions, and write Tweets for the organization’s social channels.
The goal of this content is to be educational and inspiring for women in tech. I research career trends and professional development tips and turn them into engaging social graphics that align with the Tech Ladies brand.
